SCOTLAND COUNTY, Mo.- A summons has been issued to a rural Scotland County man.  Gavin Hauk was summoned to appear in Scotland County Circuit Court to answer charges including a class E felony of 3^rd degree assault and a class A misdemeanor of 3^rd degree kidnapping.

According to court documents, the charges stem from an incident that occurred on Tuesday night, August 11^th, at Hauk’s residence east of Memphis.  The summons was issued by Scotland County Associate Circuit Judge Kim Nicoli on Friday.  Hauk is scheduled to appear before Judge Nicoli on Tuesday, September 29^th, at 9 am.

The case was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
