MEMPHIS, Mo.- A Lancaster woman has been taken into custody in Scotland County. Sheriff Bryan Whitney reports that he arrested Jessica Renee Fox Friday afternoon around 2:30 pm. The arrest stemmed from a Failure to Appear Warrant issued on June 9th in relation to a case where Fox is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle on Highway without a Valid License- 1st offense. Fox later posted a $200 cash bond and was given an August 11th court date.
After posting bond in the Scotland County case, Fox was then served by Sheriff Whitney with an Adair County warrant for failure to appear on charges of Driving While Revoked or Suspended- 1st offense, Failure to Display Plates, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Owner Operating a Motor Vehicle without Maintaining Financial Responsibility- 1st offense. Bond was not allowed on the Adair County warrant. Fox is being held in the Scotland County jail awaiting extradition.
